The Time Travelers Wife..

I saw the movie.. And even though many people have said that it was a bit of a let down.. I disagree! It was beautiful! I cried, i laughed and i got butterflies all at the same time. Its probably the most romantic, bittersweet, horribly sad movies I've even seen.. And thats a big statement to make!

One of the greatest things i took from this movie.. other than the extreme romance is the song.. "Love will tear us apart" Which is originally sung by Joy Division but for this movie is redone by Broken Social Scene.. AND is performed in the movie by the band! I was very surprised when the scene came about and i saw Kevin Drew up on that stage! It was the best feeling because that scene also happens to be the most romantic in the movie.. In my opinion. I had tears in my eyes let just say. :)

I saw this movie last night with Chris for our 9 month celebration.. And even he enjoyed the movie.. Which is good because we will defiantly be watching it again together when i own it! :)

So yes! I recommend this movie to everyone! Especially those who are love sick, heart felt, just plain hard core romantics! If you want to cry out of sheer sadness and beautiful love at the same time.. This movie is for you! And also.. If you want a piece of the movie to take home with you.. Get the soundtrack! Most of it is instrumental from the music throughout the movie.. But the song from BSS is also on there as well... And as you can see from my Last.fm player.. I'm listening to it non stop! Literally.
